IQAC & Citizen Consumer Club of Annai Violet Arts & Science College organised a webinar on “Consumer Safety & Standards” on 20th October 2020 Tuesday by 3.00 pm in zoom virtual platform. In presence of Secretary Mr. N. R. D. Prem Kumar, Principal Dr. Kamala Balakrishnan, Vice Principal & IQAC Coordinator Mrs. Japhia Solomon, CCC Coordinator Mrs. P. Lavanya, CCC Members Mrs. Caterin Ida, Mrs Meera, Mrs. Prasana Muralidharan, staff members and students. The programme was presided by Mr M. Selvaraj, National Secretary, Consumer Confederation of India, delivered brief introduction about consumer protection followed by Dr P. Elango, Health Director, FEDCOT India, presented valuable information about food safety and Mr P. Kalyanasundaram, Public Relations Director, FEDCOT India, brief about standardisation measures.
